About the Role
This role will be jointly reporting to the Senior Business Development & Marketing Technology Manager and directly supporting the global legal and financial services divisions of the Group. The role will work within a global Business Development and Marketing team that provides integrated business development and marketing technology ("BD-MarTech") platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a lead role in the implementation and adoption of a CRM upgrade and any future CRM migrations, integrations and upgrades.
- Support the development and execution of Group BD- MarTech initiatives.
- Manage CRM workflows and ensure the accuracy of BD & Marketing data
- Integrate new automation tools with the CRM (Interaction v9) and other BD/Marketing systems.
- Deliver training programmes for BD & Marketing teams, fee-earning client facing professionals and support teams on CRM adoption and usage.
- Advise on campaign effectiveness and lead nurturing best
- Develop and implement CRM policies and procedures.
- Support and constructively challenge existing CRM processes, making recommendations that will increase efficiencies.
- Working with the Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager to develop CRM dashboards and performance reports for BD & Marketing teams.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business development strategies.
- Ensure proper segmentation and targeting strategies for marketing campaigns and BD outreach.
Requirements
- Education: A bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, business technology or a related field is preferred; a minimum of 8+ years’ experience with a professional services firm and a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the financial services industry.
- Advanced CRM & Systems Integration: Competence in configuring and integrating CRM systems (Interaction v9 or similar) with marketing automation tools, ensuring seamless data flow and alignment of processes.
- Advanced Technical Proficiency: Understanding of scripting, APIs, and data management; ability to coordinate with IT for more complex development needs.
- Adept Process Optimisation & Analytics: Skilled in setting up performance dashboards, monitoring campaign metrics, and making data-driven improvements.
- Superior Marketing Automation Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with major automation platforms (e.g. Vuture, Concep, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot) and best practices in campaign workflows, lead scoring, and email marketing. Superior understanding of data privacy rules and regulations.
- Superior Project & Stakeholder Management: Adept at working with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and communicating progress to senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Change Management: Comfortable implementing new systems and driving user adoption through training, documentation, and support.
- Professionalism:
- Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a team-first mentality
- Excellent training and communication skills for global training and implementation of new tools and platforms
- Be a self-starter with the ability to handle a diverse workload
- Excellent time management, organisational, prioritisation and communication skills, both verbal and written (fluent written and oral English)
